Pembroke lodge

The Belvedere is a purpose designed function room which seats up to 140 guests and combines classical elegance with modern facilities. It leads directly out onto a terrace with stunning views of the Thames Valley to the West.

Civil ceremonies can be held in the Belvedere followed by the wedding reception and evening party or alternatively you are welcome to hold just the reception and evening party. Wedding ceremonies or receptions are normally held late afternoon.

We are also able to offer just a ceremony followed by a drinks reception. These can be held on Mondays, Tuedays and Wednesdays.

The Belvedere comes complete with classical arches, vaulted ceilings and a two storey light well above the top table. The combination of a starlight ceiling and themed fibre-optic lighting provides a unique atmosphere, whatever time of year.

Our prices include:	Advice from inception to completion, setting up the Belvedere as specified, PA and lighting systems, furniture including highchairs, menus and a seating plan if required, table linen, cake stand, cutlery, china and glasses - including reasonable breakages.
Our prices exclude:	The Registrars fees, floral decorations, chair covers, entertainment, photography and the wedding cake.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Booking

Due to excess demand, the only fair basis on which we can operate is "first confirmed". We recommend an early inspection of the venue by appointment. No booking is confirmed until the hire fee has been paid. The hire fee is not refundable under any circumstances and we suggest that suitable insurance is obtained for your protection.

The Marriage

We are approved as a venue for civil marriage ceremonies with up to 140 guests. We will book the date with the Registrar. You also need to contact the Registrar yourselves to complete the formalities.

Licensing

The Belvedere is licensed to serve alcoholic beverages until 23.45. All food, wine and alcoholic beverages will be provided by Pembroke Lodge with the option of you providing your own wine and/or champagne to be consumed during the meal which will then be charged at our standard corkage rate (see 'Beverages' above). Amplified music must be played within reasonable limits as determined by our sound limiting equipment.

Minimum Numbers

We only accept bookings with a minimum of 90 adult guests for the wedding breakfast on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays during the Summer (this also applies to bank holidays). At all other times the minimum guest numbers are 70 adults.

Access

The Park is closed to traffic at dusk (16.00 to 21.00). Entry and exit thereafter is via Richmond Gate only, which will be manned by our staff. Due to the deer, please ask all drivers to drive with extreme care.
