Pembroke lodge

The Russell Suite, situated on the first floor of the old Lodge, has recently been completely renovated and offers an exquisite ambience with enhanced views of the Thames Valley. Wedding ceremonies or receptions are normally held around midday.

The suite consists of the following rooms:-

The Lord John Russell Rooms
This suite consists of two lovely and spacious adjoining rooms with ornate fireplaces, bay windows and marvellous views over the south lawn. These rooms are licensed for civil ceremonies and also can be used as a dining room for the wedding breakfast accommodating up to 70 guests.

The Bertrand Russell Rooms
This suite consists of two lovely and spacious adjoining rooms with fabulous views of the west. Reception drinks can be served in here, and there is also a bar for the evening party.

The Phantom Room
This room is ideal for evening dancing or other entertainment. Sound and lighting systems can be provided.

Our prices include:	Advice from inception to completion, setting up the Russell Suite as specified, PA and lighting systems, furniture including highchairs, menus and a seating plan if required, table linen, cake stand, cutlery, china and glasses - including reasonable breakages.
Our prices exclude:	The Registrars fees, floral decorations, chair covers, entertainment, photography and the wedding cake.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Booking
Due to excess demand, the only fair basis on which we can operate is "first confirmed". We recommend early inspection of the venue by appointment. No booking is confirmed until the hire fee has been paid. The hire fee is not refundable under any circumstances and we suggest that suitable insurance is obtained for your protection.

The Marriage
We are approved as a venue for civil marriage ceremonies with up to 70 guests in the Russell Suite. We will book the date with the Registrar. You also need to contact the Registrar yourselves to complete these formalities.

Licensing
The Russell Suite is licensed until 23.00 hours. All food, wines and alcoholic beverages will be supplied by Pembroke Lodge with the option of providing your own wine and/or champagne to be consumed during the meal which will be charged at our standard corkage rate (see 'Beverages' above).

Minimum Numbers
On Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays there is a minimum requirement of 30 adult guests for the Suite.

Access
The Park is closed to traffic at dusk (16.00 to 21.00). Entry and exit thereafter is via Richmond Gate only, which will be manned by our staff. Due to the deer, please ask all drivers to drive with extreme care.
