Wedding Administrator
We are currently recruiting for a Wedding Administrator to join our friendly, fast-paced team, who will be responsible for the operational delivery of weddings at Pembroke Lodge. From venue viewings right up to the day itself, you will help couples plan their special day with customer service and attention to detail top of mind. As a key member of the weddings team, you will also be responsible for responding to enquiries from prospective couples and managing a large volume of files for each of your scheduled weddings, ensuring all details are organized and recorded accurately, including preparing detailed worksheets and invoices.

We are looking for a keen learner, who will quickly develop a thorough knowledge of our food and beverage, room layouts, entertainment, and other details pertaining to weddings at Pembroke Lodge to offer options and guidance to couples. Our ideal candidate has successfully worked in large events (100 attendees or more) and with culinary teams, is meticulously organized with first-class communication skills, and has a great deal of self-sufficiency and sales/administrative experience. Guest management with knowledge on how to navigate potential event challenges and look after our couples in a professional and genuinely caring manner is a must.Our goal is to ensure a memorable day for each of our couples, delivered to their precise wishes.

Assistant Banqueting Manager
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Banqueting Manager to join our friendly, fast-paced team at Pembroke Lodge. Reporting to the Banqueting Manager, previous experience working at a busy, large-scale weddings and events venue is a must, coupled with complete dedication to first-class customer service and organization skills.

We’re looking for someone who has a can-do attitude and teamwork approach with excellent people management skills as the role involves supervising staff and setting a positive example for customer relations. In addition to supporting the administration duties of the Banqueting Manager (scheduling, payroll, ordering, inventory etc.), you will be allocated your own weddings and events to look after. This will involve liaising with couples and clients, and operational management, including but not limited to: handling initial enquiries by phone or email; organizing and conducting venue viewings and tasting appointments; day-of support for each of your weddings and events through consistent floor presence supervising all aspects including set-up, food service, clearing, and clean-up, ensuring standards are meticulously maintained.

Beyond previous wedding and events experience as a supervisor or assistant manager, we’re looking for a proactive, service-orientated candidate with strong communication and confident public speaking capabilities, the ability to multitake and manage time effectively, and demonstrated attention to detail and readiness to contibute to a positive working environment.

This is a great opportunity to work with and learn from a seasoned team of wedding professionals, who are invested in the development and career progression of team members. Please note, this is a live-in position with private en-suite accommodation provided in the west wing of the building. Hours of work are varied, ranging from 9am-5pm some days to 2pm to midnight during wedding and events. All candidates must comfortably meet physical requirements of the role (constant standing and walking throughout shift, frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs, frequent kneeling, pushing and pulling, frequent ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps, and proven ability to carry three entrée plates or more at one time).

Catering and Banqueting Staff
We are looking for flexible team members to join our catering and banqueting team. With a friendly and amiable disposition, and good spoken english, you are happy to work both in our tea rooms and during functions (weddings etc.). Full-time and part-time positions available. You will be required to work weekends and late evening as required, with rotas sent in advance.
